How To Draw Books

Still, i could not decide whether these “How to Draw” books are useful for children or not. My opinion is they have a negative effect on the imagination of our children. But i should state that they are also useful for a mom who has hasn’t got ability to draw :) Since my approach is not possitive about the drawing tips books, i prefer not to buy them. But my girl bought that book from the book fair in her school. She was very excited to draw the dinosaurs and about the stickers found in the book. She and her friend had a good time while drawing.

Note: Regarding to a comment in Cocuklacocuks’ turkish version from Zeynep, who is a drawing teacher, these kind of books are helpful for children in order to develop the hand structure and learn styles.

(English) Fortune Teller- Origami

It is strange but this origami shape is called as salt shaker in turkish. Fortune teller is more suitable in my opinion. Different names in various cultures :)

Fortune Teller is a good indoor game with your children. And even with the ones who can not read /write yet, you can arrange the game with different colours. First, put the fortune teller on your fingers as seen in photos. Then select one of the four and choose a number. Finally, count until the chosen number, the selected one in the beginning is your luck. I know it is not easy to tell this luck game but i think most of us know already. Also below photos will be helpful.

Yengeçle Gelen Ödül

Geçtiğimiz hafta kızım yukarıda yaptığı resimle, Çek Cumhuriyeti‘nin düzenlediği 39th International Children’s Exhibition of Fine Art Lidice, 2011′ de ödüle hak kazandı. İlk söylediğinde anlamadık doğal olarak,; ne ödülü,  nerden kazandın, vs… gibi sorularımızı hep “bilmiyorum” diyerek geçiştirdi. Çocuğu olanlar alışıktır bu duruma, çocuklar detayları ile  ilgilenmiyorlar, ilgilenseler de akıllarında tutamıyorlar diyelim, resim yarışmasında ödül almış olmak bilgisi onlar için yeterli. Yarışmanın detayları, Unesco tarafından desteklendiği, okul olarak 2 madalya ve okuldan 10 öğrenci ile grup ödülü aldıkları bilgisini öğretmenimizden öğrendim. İrem  yengeç resmiyle  grup ödülü aldı.

Rapunzel Bubbles
